this is where i'll be putting listings of open quests! quests will stay open for a while, 'til they're filled or i get tired of them, and then they'll go away, so.... i guess you gotta keep an eye on this page if you wanna earn a whole bunch of grist! note that this page doesn't include your personal quest, if you have one -- i give those out on request when the personal quests are open. right now, they're closed.... ah, but i'll open them soon !
these quests are supposed to be fun and light and i'm willing to accept a lot of modifications! as of right now none of these have any kind of quality judging or comparative stuff. they're tasks for you to complete in any way you like -- if they start stressing you out, it's time for you to take a break! i don't want to make anyone upset.... i just want everyone to have another fun reason to learn some skills and look at each other's stuff more :-)

AP Holidays
Remember the AP Zampanic History test the Survivor of Avalanches wrote? Well, it's December 24, which means Hanukkah's over and it's time for your homework! YOUR TASK: Answer any amount of the linked AP test questions. For each question you complete, as long as you answer every part of the prompt, you'll receive a reward regardless of quality, citation style, or anything else that might scare you!
The test is available in the Puzzle Box here. Limit one response per question per person - and, as always, send me your answers on Discord or Tumblr.
REWARDS:
+50 (for submitting any answer to the multiple choice question, regardless of accuracy)
+100 (for answering the short answer question in its entirety)
+200 (for answering the long essay question, regardless of length)
+250 (for answering the document-based question using all five documents in some way)
That's up to 600 available to everybody!
BONUS: After February 28, 2025, I will look through all the essays submitted so far (should any exist) and provide a bonus reward to the writers of my favorite long-essay and document-based questions.

Roz'berry wants you to make newspaper articles about your own branch or other people's branches! The information's in the Discord, but the short version is:
- YOUR TASK: Write a news article covering an event in any branch, including your own (or JR's).
- Articles must include:
- A snappy headline
- Any image (including a stock image)
- A quote from any character in any branch that isn't your own
- An author credit that is not your title, if you have one
REWARD:
50 (for covering JR's branch or your own)
100 (for covering someone else's)
Taking Notes
This quest has two versions: a short-term (easy) version, and a long-term (hard) version!
Short-Term Memory:
YOUR TASK: Make a playable remix of any original song created for Zampanio in any rhythm game level editor. (Examples: Heaven Studio, Rhythm Doctor...) You don't have to clear it yourself, but there's a bonus reward if you do!
REWARD:
100 (for creating the remix)
150 (for creating the remix AND getting a full combo without botplay)
Long-Term Memory:
YOUR TASK: Create a mashup that samples all of the following:
- any song original to Zampanio, which must be the base melody
- wastetree.ogg
- any two additional songs
REWARD:
300 (for completing the mashup)
350 (for completing the mashup and making a rhythm game remix of it)
400 (for doing both of the above and then full comboing it! wow!)
Bonus Rewards:
75 to the first to full-combo another quest-seeker's submission.
100 to the first to full-combo another quest-seeker's submission if they couldn't clear it themself!
