LOG TIMESTAMP: 20251116 AUTHOR: Roz’berry Bioluminescence Natasherd Clover Way LOG SUBJECT: Closer, EyeKiller, Tampering // if the target starts tampering with the logs we’re actually so fucked. she could literally be anywhere Our logs are being tampered with. Our logs are being fucking tampered with. I checked back to update this one and something was changed and JR’s responding to these and we’re so fucked. We are so fucked. I am never getting out of this fucking parole agreement and the best-case scenario is we make it out of the maze. I’m still not thinking about Zampanio. I do not give a fuck about Zampanio. I refuse to explore any of the simulations or whatever. I’m not even touching Echidna or whatever’s going on with Parker and the Captain and all those other teams. I just want to do more research on EyeDol Games. …okay. It’s been a stressful couple of days, to say the least. Morale isn’t exactly the best it’s been, and I can’t say I have a ton of confidence in my teammates to help me sort things out? I suppose we’ve opened ourselves up to the help and hindrances of several wanderers and colonists in the maze. That’s fine, as long as they don’t start dragging me in. It’s too late for BB. She has a title now. They’re trying to make her one of them. I’m going to be a bit sparser about what I share with her, Barton be damned, unless I have to. The most relevant things I’ve found this time are more about the capabilities of the Closer -- who appears to have future sight, something that can be invaluable if we find a version of her that’s willing to talk (and not obsessed with fruit) -- and another lead as to the mysterious Flower Girl, who seems to come from a different source than the rest of the team? It remains to be seen whether Wanda and Flower Girl, my next two subjects of investigation, actually know each other. Oh, and look at this. BB sent me these. Bad news is that means she’s wandering the maze. Good news is that means two things: first, she’s probably going to attract the Killer’s attention, because she’s BB. Second, these look like solid leads to the target. That first one could just be a description of her, straight-up, no two ways about it. I’ll have to keep a closer eye on any snowmen we come across… and my own teammates. Oh, and Bones is fucking crazy. As usual. She’s writing a bible or something. I try to stay on the opposite side of any room we’re both in so she doesn’t recognize me. |

“The Closer” ORIGIN: EyeDol Games? There’s multiple versions of the Closer, supposedly, which makes our job so much fucking harder -- because we’re supposed to be looking for out-of-character behavior and “slightly off” versions of these assholes. Just another gift from the universe to me. The Closer seems like the business type (coffee is for Closers) and apparently did some wild shit in the name of spreading “Zampanio” as much as it did. While I don’t plan to delve much into Zampanio itself, because I know a fucking trap when I see one, I’m interested in how she was able to spread this idea so effectively. And what about her coworkers? UPDATE: According to a chat log I found while exploring EyeDol’s websites, she appears to have some kind of future knowledge -- and a connection to “Wanda,” who’s closely associated with the crow-people I keep finding to the East. Wanda is far more enthusiastic about stealing game concepts from the future than the CFO. What really interested me, though, is that Yu-Gi-Oh was one of the sources, and BB tells me that’s where the EyeKiller is reportedly from. Did the Closer bring her to her universe somehow? | “Truth” ORIGIN: Kind Of Everywhere The red text. NotASpiral. Something that talks to us whenever we pop open the inspection windows on the interface we’re using, and something that thinks acknowledging they’re fakey fake narrative bullshit will make them the smartest entity around. Obsessed with spreading Zampanio, which begs the question of a connection with The Closer. Also runs a bathroom maze with their girlfriend, who’s a whole can of worms. I think we’ve seen all of it? Maybe? Active mysteries: Is it possible to trace the origin of Truth? How’d they meet Alt, anyway? | “Alt” ORIGIN: ???? A fucking mimic. I hate it here. I hate it here. We’re chasing a psychic mimic, and here we are dealing with another mimic who’s both a prankster and a flirt. And one that’s somehow really put the charm on Truth, despite the fact that she’s scooping people out of the maze to make them click on meat for a really long time before they realize they’ve already seen every type of room. Blah, blah, blah. There’s a story with “the truth about her” and how she shapeshifted into the maze-form she takes sometimes. What I’m wondering, though… Active mysteries: Where else is she? Is it possible to stumble across her in more spots? How can I tell when she’s mimicking JR? UPDATE: Appears to come from a different source than Truth, meaning they must’ve met in the labyrinth. Huh. |
“Parker” ORIGIN: That One LobCorp Team A scaredy cat with a gun who really likes Hatsune Miku and seems to be traveling between worlds, like us. I’d write Parker off as utterly insignificant if not for the fact that the target definitely is going to want to use all those traits against us. Keeping an eye on this one. | “The Eye Killer” ORIGIN: Yu-Gi-Oh?? Maybe the same killer hired by the Closer? Was a cultist at some point, and now she hunts cultists instead… well, one version of her does, and another’s still a cultist. What I wanna know is: Active mysteries: Where’s the cult? (And its leader.) ------------------------------------ UPDATE: Found security footage of the EyeKiller in action. Took someone’s eyes, which would make sense for the name, except the Stenographer also referred to her as the “EyeDol Killer.” Notably only killed the staff in the prison she was in. Why does Zampanio have a prison?? Anyway. Seems to be associated with mannequins and have a very specific pattern -- something to watch for variations in… | “NotAMinotaur” ORIGIN: Homestuck Or Discord Or Something An old roleplay character that turned into a Discord bot spreading philosophical this-and-that. Active mysteries: If NAM’s a different entity from the Minotaur from that one magazine cover, who is that? Why the specific denial, too? |

“JR” AMBINARRATIVELY ENTANGLED The author. The eyes. We keep finding communications from them in databases. They’re watching us. They’re probably reading this right now (hi). They also, importantly, have attics. I cannot fucking find the page that said that they have attics but I know they have attics. One time they cut me off in the middle of a ZampanioSim text adventure and I don’t remember which one or why or what they said. Where are the attics? How do I get there? How did someone find one in the North? And where is that fucking hint page?? UPDATE: Can see me. Great. Also, apparently there’s multiple, so… I went ahead and removed the identifier I had last time, since it doesn’t seem particularly helpful. I know a chumhandle when I see one, but mine stays consistent, at least. None of that Wayward Vagabond bullshit. I’m silvapolitanCosmonaut every time. Ask any of me.
| Puppeteer of the Lost Writes their own story. Has a funny habit of changing descriptions of themselves for fun, albeit in temporary ways. UPDATE: This is not what I fucking wrote. These logs aren’t secure anymore, apparently, so that’s just great. I’ll try to find a good way to encrypt them -- and when I do, I’m not putting it here. Dr. Barton, please handle communicating whatever method I tell you to the team, okay? | Void Caller of Spores Also a fucking awesome name. Hangs out with Ellie a lot, and she’s a big fan of the spores. Personally I don’t get it but maybe that’s just a meat thing? Seems to have an ongoing feud or rivalry or kismesis or something with Solder, and the two are always bickering over things like spores and bickering. Accidentally set in motion a series of events one time. | |
Medium^2 of Spiders You can get a squared title?? Huh. Anyway, this one’s some kind of ghost that haunts the server, eternally sentence-mixing everyone else’s messages. Sent a bunch of blank spaces one time so we’d be able to communicate. Mostly here because communicating through sentence-mixing makes you trivially easy to mimic, meaning I’m sure the target’s going to consider you a high-priority host. | crimsonDestroyer Marked, which is interesting, because so few Marked are still around. Has created a lot of universes and a lot of characters, which means a lot of names, which means a buffet for the target. Also really into rhythm games. | Anon of Corruption The reason I’m here. Encouraging. … A friend, even. With a name like that, though… Ha. No. I’m not stupid. Yeah, we can create for Zampanio. Wow, yippee, let’s feed the entity. Yeah, right. All of my creations are specifically tailored to finding the fucking target. Zampanio is a meaningless distraction and I don’t give a shit if you play it.
Stenographer of Patterns Refers to two individuals -- one who notably uses spaces to separate out all punctuation. Helping us with our investigation of the EyeKiller, supposedly -- although those who prove too helpful might also make great targets. I wonder if I’m getting too paranoid? | Todo when someone else catches my eyes. | Todo when someone else catches my eyes.
